Mobile Friday (mFriday) focuses on human capacity development for the mobile web industry in Ghana.

 

mFriday has its roots from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) located in Kumasi, Ghana.

 

As the name implies, the group meets on Fridays to share ideas and develop mobile applications intended to solve problems and improve services in Ghana and eventually Africa. Meetings are usually held at the new Vodafone Cafe at KNUST.

 

mFriday has 210 active members (still counting) with diverse backgrounds, which reflect the unique inter-disciplinary nature of ICT for Development (ICT4D).

As I went to the Human Resource Office to do some enquiry , I got there and saw Chunk of life sitting on the Manager’s Table and a Cabinet that was full of files.  So I decided to research online to check if there are some software that could help eliminate this voluminous files.

I came across few software and there problem that i was having with them was; most them were selling it, which is not wrong but considering the small company who will like to try and when they expand, they can customize earning the software company so money.

My first Step

I guess this my first time of  blogging and I will like to talk about myself and presently what is happening in my career.

Currently, I will blog about the general view of how different life is after completing your first degree and how anxious it is to find a Job and the mere think of how you are going to achieve your goal or have perfect life that you desire  after school.

For me, thing or life has not really change for me because since Day One that I entered the University, I have been engaged in either some volunteering works  and Hustling just to keep up and provide my basic needs. It was not easy but thanks to the Lord Almighty who knows what is best for you and me, He has seen me through it all and I know there are better thing to come ; And I have to work hard too.

I have started reading some books on career planning and stuff.  And even thinking and planning of my career, as to where I want to be and where I want to work. But still waiting for my National Service as some called it “National Suffering “….. Just Kidding..lol !!!
